Myrna Cruz-Gillinder is responsible for the installation, implementation and maintenance of Capital Z’s in-house databases as well as outsourced databases including Interaction, The NextRound, and Navision.  She is responsible for data integrity and performance as well as testing of these databases.  Ms. Cruz-Gillinder has played an integral role in company projects relating to risk management, the company’s website and intranet , as well as with in-house custom databases for generating capital calls and IRR’s.  She is also responsible for day-to-day operations involving backup recoverability and troubleshooting database and application issues. 

Prior to joining Capital Z in 1999, she was at Lynch & Mayer (a subsidiary of Lincoln National) and worked on the finance team and with the computer department.  Before joining Lynch & Mayer in 1994, she worked in the Research Department at Goldman Sachs for the #1 rated technology analyst, named to Institutional Investor Magazine’s “All American Research Team” for 8 consecutive years.  Prior to joining Goldman, she was an Auditor at Bankers Trust Company.

Ms. Cruz-Gillinder graduated from Pace University with a B.B.A. degree in Finance.
