Myrna Cruz-Gillinder is responsible for the installation, implementation and maintenance of Capital Z’s in-house databases as well as outsourced databases including Interaction, Navision and The NextRound.  She is responsible for data integrity and performance, as well as testing of these databases.  Ms. Cruz-Gillinder has played an integral role in company projects relating to risk management, the company’s website and intranet, and with in-house custom databases for generating capital calls and IRR’s.  She is also responsible for day-to-day operations involving backup recoverability and troubleshooting database and application issues. 

Prior to joining Capital Z in 1999, Ms. Cruz-Gillinder was at Lynch & Mayer (a subsidiary of Lincoln National), working with the Investment team and the IT department.  Before joining Lynch & Mayer in 1994, she was with Goldman Sachs in the New York office, working with the Technology team in the Investment Research department. She later transferred to Goldman's Philadelphia office, assisting the Managing Director. Prior to joining Goldman, Ms. Cruz-Gillinder was an Auditor at Bankers Trust Company.

Ms. Cruz-Gillinder graduated from Pace University with a B.B.A. degree in Finance. Ms. Cruz-Gillinder is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional in Database Administration and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2005.
